US private equity fund JC Flowers is planning to list Italian broker Euromobiliare Sim once it has acquired 60% of the company along with Italian investment company Mid Industry Capital, newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore reported, citing JC Flowers' managing director Ravi Sinha. 'Our investment horizon is long term, indefinite, and the aim is to seek a listing of Euromobiliare,' Sinha said. Sinha added that a listing will provide the resources for further growth, including acquisitions.

On Monday, JC Flowers and Mid Industry Capital said they will buy the stake in Euromobiliare from the company's managers for EUR 140 mln. JC Flowers will hold a controlling 50.01% stake. Euromobiliare SIM, founded in 1991, focuses on corporate consulting, and finance operations concerning the equity market. Part of the Credem Group, the company is specialised in trading Italian equities for domestic and international institutional clients.
