Jansons Property, a developer focused on the UK’s South East region, has acquired two former business parks in High Wycombe and Bracknell for redevelopment into prime industrial space.
The two parks - Kingsmead Business Park in High Wycombe and The Boulevard in Bracknell – have a gross development value (GDV) of £100 mln (€116 mln).
Jansons Property plans to redevelop the parks into 300,000 ft2 (2,800 m2) of prime industrial space.
Andy Jansons, managing director of Jansons Property, said: ‘These acquisitions perfectly align with our strategy to transform underperforming office sites into thriving industrial spaces.
‘As businesses in the South East seek to expand, we are continuing to see strong demand for prime industrial stock and are proud to be at the forefront of meeting this demand, with the associated social and economic benefits.’
Jansons Property was founded in 2003 and is a 50:50 joint venture between Andy Jansons and The William Pears Group. The firm has developed 40 projects with a combined GDV in excess of £750 mln, with most projects taking place in the Thames Valley.
