Germany's IVG Immobilien has appointed Guido Piñol as a member of its management board and COO for a period of three years.
Germany's IVG Immobilien has appointed Guido Piñol as a member of its management board and COO for a period of three years.
Piñol, aged 44, takes up his new post on 1 October 2013. However, from July 2013 he will assume responsibility for
the funds segment and for asset management as a general agent of IVG Immobilien, in addition to his role as chairman of IVG Investment and managing director of IVG Development.
Piñol was appointed group executive manager for investment in October 2011. As chairman of IVG Investment since April 2010, he has been responsible for reviewing IVG’s existing portfolio including processing the remaining projects in the development division.
Before joining IVG, Piñol held the positions of managing director and chief investment officer at Fortress Investment Group Germany and was managing director at CBRE in Frankfurt until 2006.
IVG also announced that current COO Christian Kühni will join the management of IVG Institutional Funds from July 2013. He will focus on further strengthening the institutional funds business together with the chairman of the board of IVG Institutional Funds, Bernhard Berg, and managing director Irmgard Linker.
