Ivanhoé Cambridge and its London-based partner Residential Land have acquired 122 residential units at two premises in the UK capital for £160 mln (€216 mln).

Sixty-two of the apartments are located at the four-building Hamlet Gardens complex in London’s Ravenscourt Park. The remaining 60 units are situated at 4B Merchant Square, located close to Paddington Station.

The Ivanhoé Cambridge-Residential Land partnership now owns 16 multi-family residential assets in London.

'These acquisitions further our investment strategy of acquiring quality residential properties in key submarkets of London,' said Sylvain Fortier, global chief investment officer at Ivanhoé Cambridge. 'London remains a very attractive market, especially for this type of high-demand residential product. Our partnership of the last four years with Residential Land is a competitive advantage for our success there.'
