Italian private equity firm Sator Immobiliare has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Aedes SIIQ's fund management arm, Aedes Real Estate.
The deal brings Sator's assets under management to around €800 mln, across eight real estate funds.
Carlo Puri Negri, who is president of Aedes SIIQ, is also president of Sator. As a result of the deal, the Rome-based private equity company moves its headquarters to Milan.
The news follows the announcement in May that Sator had acquired a 95% stake in Aedes Real Estate for around €7 mln.
The sale enables Aedes SIIQ to move towards a direct property ownership model in line with its conversion to REIT-status as of 1 January 2016, rather than managing real estate for third parties.
