Italian asset manager Prelios SGR has secured a €50 mln green loan from local lender Intesa Sanpaolo for the redevelopment of the Tupini Lake Building in Rome’s Eur district.
The loan, signed by Prelios as the management company of the Aurora real estate fund - whose sole shareholder is a major pension fund - is aimed at financing the redevelopment of the building to bring it up to the highest levels of efficiency and sustainability.
The complex will be targeting a Leed Gold, Breeam Good, Well Silver, and Wiredscore Silver certifications.
Overlooking the Eur lake, Tupini Lake Building features ten floors above ground with a total gross area of 48,000 m2.
