The Italian government has launched a public tender for the 50-year lease concession of a package of seven properties in the province of Turin. The tender marks the continuation of Valore Paese, a project initiated by the tendering agency Agenzia del Demanio to revitalise, redevelop and economically exploit state-owned real estate assets.
The Italian government has launched a public tender for the 50-year lease concession of a package of seven properties in the province of Turin. The tender marks the continuation of Valore Paese, a project initiated by the tendering agency Agenzia del Demanio to revitalise, redevelop and economically exploit state-owned real estate assets.
Bids for the tender, which will have a lease fee reserve of EUR 22,000, may be submitted up to 5 May 2008. The concession will be awarded to the best revitalisation and redevelopment project for the whole area and for the related environmental system.
The concession applies to the renovation and redevelopment of the entire package of property assets, located in a diversified geographic area extending from the flat and hilly zones on the outskirts of Turin to the mountainous areas of the Alps, close to the French border.
Assets included in the tender are located in tourist areas of particular interest, such as the system of 'Savoy Residences' and the 'Alpine' system, which includes the Alta Val di Susa, Val Pellice and Val Germanasca valleys. These assets have strong development potential for the local tourist industry.

It is also possible to visit the properties for an inspection by no later than 11 April 2008.
