The Israeli real estate fund MDSR has paid €180 mln to acquire a portfolio of nine Carrefour hypermarkets in Italy and Spain.
Just a few days ago, the same investor bought four Carrefour supermarkets in Barcelona from Barings for €27.9 mln. In Spain, the assets are distributed between San Sebastián de los Reyes, Alcalá de Henares, Santander, Ávila and Rincón de la Victoria.
The Israeli investment firm first entered Spain in 2015. Nowadays, it owns several supermarkets and shopping centres including Connecta Córdoba (Córdoba), Parque Comercial La Dehesa (Alcalá de Henares- Madrid), Mercado de Campanar (Valencia), Parque Comercial Puerta del Ave (Ciudad Real).
The portfolio totals 123,000 m2 of gross leasable area.
