Irish investor Iput Real Estate, the largest owner of offices and logistics assets in Dublin, has appointed Marie Hunt to the newly created role of head of research.

Hunt will join Iput in the Autumn and will also be a member of the Iput senior management team.

She is expected to be responsible for Iput’s thought leadership strategy, supporting the business’ investment process, placemaking strategy and sustainability programme.

Hunt is currently head of research and consulting at CBRE in Ireland, a function she established in 1995, and is a member of CBRE Ireland’s executive committee.

She writes comprehensive research on all aspects of the real estate market and her work is among the most downloaded of CBRE’s real estate research globally.

Reflecting her position of expertise, Hunt has supported presentations to major international institutions on the Irish property market including the IMF, ECB and EU.

Marie was made an honorary Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland in recognition of her contribution to the country’s real estate industry and is a council member of the Urban Land Institute in Ireland.

With Hunt as new head of research, Iput intends to accelerate its research function.
