IPD, an MSCI brand, announced on Monday that Alexandre Lamot is joining the group as executive director and head of client coverage for Continental Europe.
He will be based in London and will take up his position on September 1, 2014.
Lamot’s tenure in the real estate industry spans 20 years. Most recently he acted as a fund placement agent representing real estate funds active in Europe, the US and Asia. Before joining IPD, he served as European director at Rockspring Property Investment Managers where he was fund manager of two value-added real estate funds.
Prior to Rockspring, he was assistant vice-president at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and part of the London team responsible for expanding real estate investments in Europe through fund investments and joint ventures.
He also held positions as manager at Arthur Andersen Real Estate Corporate Finance in London advising corporate occupiers on their real estate strategy, and development manager at Wilhelm & Co, a shopping centre development company, in Belgium.
