IntReal - the specialist fund administration unit of Warburg-Henderson - is poised to launch five further funds with an estimated investment volume of EUR 1.5 bn in the near term.

'We have witnessed high demand for this business model as property companies increasingly recognise the attraction of institutional money,' said managing director Michael Schneider. 'This is coupled with increasing demand for the property sector from the institutions themselves.'

Having facilitated its first fund launch in December 2009, the company set up four further new property special funds for its German and European partners in 2010, totaling an investment volume of circa EUR 1.7 bn. The funds represent a variety of risk and return classes and sectors.

IntReal, which targets asset managers, developers and property owners willing to launch a German property fund without having to set up their own KAG, currently has around EUR 500 mln of assets under management. It was founded in 2009 and is a property service KAG specialising in the launch and the administration of German property funds in accordance with the German Investment Act.

IntReal provides a full range of services to fund managers, including launching and administering property funds, fund accounting and controlling, as well as fund reporting and risk management.
