European fund manager Internos Global Investors has sold the Steigenberger Hotel in the German city of Osnabrück to a private investor for an undisclosed sum.

European fund manager Internos Global Investors has sold the Steigenberger Hotel in the German city of Osnabrück to a private investor for an undisclosed sum.

The 4-star hotel was sold on behalf of Internos’ Euro Property 1 fund, which bought it in 2005. Built in 1998, it has 156 rooms and is operated as a Steigenberger Hotel by the Arcona hotel group under a lease agreement.

The Euro Property 1 fund is currently invested in nine properties located across five European countries and worth around €218 mln in total. Other locations in Germany are Duisburg, Mainz and Hanover.

Headquartered in London, Internos has more than €4.1 bn in assets under management across the logistics, office, hotel and retail sectors.
