Fund manager Internos Global Investors has appointed retail expert Jenefer Greenwood to its investment board as a non-executive director.
Greenwood has over 30 years of UK and European retail experience. She started her career with Hillier Parker, where she held the position of executive director and head of retail following the merger with CBRE in 1998. She subsequently moved to Grosvenor where she spent 10 years and was appointed director of sales and lettings for Grosvenor Britain and Ireland in 2010.
In 2004, Greenwood was appointed a Crown Estate Commissioner and served on the board of the Crown Estate, chairing its remuneration committee for four years until the completion of her term of office this year. Other high-profile roles include the presidency of the British Council of Shopping Centres. She was appointed OBE in the recent Birthday Honours List for ‘services to the UK real estate industry’.
Following Greenwood’s appointment, Internos now has four non-executive directors on its investment board alongside CEO Andrew Thornton and chairman Jos Short.
