Student housing specialist International Campus Group, in a joint venture with Alkyon Partners, will develop a 1,000-apartment student scheme in Krakow.
The residence will be located in the science and technology campus and it will offer 1,000 apartments for students and young professionals.
Thorsten Leipert, managing director of Alkyon Partners, commented: ‘Student housing is a quite new idea in Central and Eastern Europe, though there are some very interesting hot spots for investors, such as Krakow.’
The property, dubbed ‘The Fizz’, will have eight floors and parking areas for cars and bikes.
‘The city is booming and has a young, international and vibrant technology and start-up scene that is attracting many well-educated young people,’ added Alexander Gulya, head of international development of International Campus Group.
