Technology firm Intel has bought its European headquarters in the Polish city of Gdansk in a deal brokered by BNP Paribas Real Estate.

The complex at Allcon Park comprises five buildings with a total area of 24,000 m2 as well as a plot for future expansion. Intel employs 2,000 people at the site, known as the Polish Silicon Valley.

The purchase price of the building was not disclosed.

'This transaction proves the strengthening position of the Gdansk area in the investment market in Poland,' said Del Chandler, managing director, capital markets at BNP Paribas.
