INREV, the European association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles, has received the 2015 Corporate Leadership Award from the International Real Estate Society (IRES) in recognition of the depth and quality of the association’s research programme.
INREV, the European association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles, has received the 2015 Corporate Leadership Award from the International Real Estate Society (IRES) in recognition of the depth and quality of the association’s research programme.
INREV joins a distinguished list of former winners which includes other leading research-based organisations and real estate associations such as CoStar, EPRA, Investment Property Forum, IPD, NAREIT, Real Capital Analytics and RICS.
The award was presented to Matthias Thomas, INREV’s CEO by Professor Ramón Sotelo, the current
President of IRES, at the recent conference of the Real Estate Society in Istanbul.
Commenting on the award, Thomas said: 'We’re very pleased and proud to have received this meaningful and important accolade. It is testament to the very high standards and commitment of everyone at INREV and especially to the terrific work done by the research team.'
Sotelo added: 'Since its formation INREV has demonstrated a high level of corporate leadership in real estate, not just in the non-listed sector but across the wider industry. Through its research and public affairs programmes, and by promoting understanding of best practice and the development of global standards, INREV is helping to make real estate a more accessible, sustainable and resilient asset class.'
