ING Real Estate has won a EUR 200 mln contract to redevelop Maidenhead town centre in the UK, including some 30,000 m2 of retail space, 1,250 car parking spaces and 7,000 m2 of office accommodation.

ING Real Estate has now won five major European regeneration contracts - covering a total 460,000 m2 - since January 2008, the company said.

'Having recently shifted our focus onto large-scale regeneration projects, we are delighted to have been able to pursue this strategy so successfully over recent months,' Menno Maas, CEO Development, said.

The other projects are a retail-led mixed use scheme in central Belfast involving 74,000 m2 of new build, and developments in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and France.
