ING Real Estate has sold the new headquarters of Dutch national statistics agency CBS to a private investor for EUR 44.7 mln. Market sources estimate the initial yield at 6.9%.
The recently delivered property comprises about 22,000 m2 of office space and almost 300 parking places in the Dutch city of Heerlen. CBS has a 10-year lease on the property. The innovative design features include using mine water under the building to help with cooling.
DTZ Zadelhoff acted for ING Real Estate in the transaction, while Savills advised the buyer. DTZ Zadelhoff Property Management will manage the property for the buyer.
