ING Real Estate Development has sold the Acanthus office building in Amsterdam's south-eastern business district to Credit Suisse Asset Management for about EUR 174 mln - the second largest single office transaction in the Netherlands this year.
The property, comprising 42,000 m2 of lettable area, is let to ING Bank on a long-term lease. ING Real Estate Development was advised by DTZ Zadelhoff and Nauta Dutilh, while German-based Credit Suisse was advised by Houthoff Buruma and Savills.
The largest Dutch office deal so far this year was the EUR 250 mln sale by Dutch property company Meijon Vastgoed of the KPMG/Meijburg office project in Amstelveen to Oppenheim/IVG.
