ING Real Estate and Amsterdam municipality have reached agreement on a new head office for chemicals concern AkzoNobel in Amsterdam's Zuidas development. The company's new HQ will have a surface area of 16,500 m[sup]2[/sup]. Further details on another office complex being planned for the area will be disclosed later this year.
ING Real Estate and Amsterdam municipality have reached agreement on a new head office for chemicals concern AkzoNobel in Amsterdam's Zuidas development. The company's new HQ will have a surface area of 16,500 m2. Further details on another office complex being planned for the area will be disclosed later this year.
The new Beethoven development complex comprises seven buildings with a total of 34,000 m2 in office space. The development also comprises around 120 residential units and approximately 13,000 m2 of cultural functions including a museum.
Construction of the Beethoven development will start in mid-2011 with a new car park. Delivery of AkzoNobel's new HQ is now scheduled for mid-2012. The new head office will be built to meet a BREEAM Excellent rating.
