ING Real Estate Investment Management (ING REIM) has acquired the Maison shopping centre development in Pas-de-Calais, on the northern coast of France, from the French property group Sopic . The Maison mall has been acquired on behalf of the retail-dedicated property fund ING Retail Property Fund France Belgium. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The 25,000m2 development, designed by Groupe Sopic, will comprise a new Ikea store, four buildings with 19 units between 400m2 and 4,000m² and a 1,300m² craft centre. The occupancy rate of the development has already reached 90%. Opening is scheduled for the end of 2007, French newspaper Business Immo reported.
