Real estate veterans Bruce Gardner, Franck Lafeuille, Daniel Reneau and Alla Solovieva have joined forces to set up a new development company based in Moscow.
The firm, called Development Group 19 (DG19), will focus on the acquisition of land at various stages of approval or completion, and on the management of the development process. It is currently managing two retail development projects in the Moscow region: Zelenopark, a 110,000 m2 park in Zelenograd, and Ledentsovo, providing 55,000 m2 in Odintsovo.
The partners have long-standing experience in the real estate sector. Prior to DG19, co-founder Bruce Gardner established two real estate companies, MLP, which developed 730,000 m2 of Grade A industrial warehousing space in Russia and Ukraine, and PGP Development, a developer of retail centres.
Over the past eight years he worked alongside Alla Solovieva and Daniel Reneau to make MLP a leading warehouse developer in Russia.
Franck Lafeuille was previously head of development for Simon Properties Group in Europe where he developed over one million m2 of shopping centres.
'DG19 is well positioned to capitalise on high-growth markets in and around Moscow and bring truly institutional assets into a developing market,' commented Gardner.
