Global commercial real estate developer and investor Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has made three senior UK hires and one European hire, expanding its logistics development team.
Matt Jones has been appointed UK development director, Sophie Watkins as UK planning director, Mike Freeley joins as UK construction director and Julan Shah as associate director, senior finance manager for financial planning & analysis Europe.
Jones joins TCC with over eight years of agency experience in the UK logistics sector. He has worked for Lambert Smith Hampton, CBRE and more recently JLL as director in the UK ‘Big Box’ logistics team.
As UK development director, he will support the Head of UK Logistics, Mike Forster, and identify and secure commercial development sites demonstrating the viability and target returns for investment partners.
Watkins brings 16 years of industry experience in the UK planning system and has in-depth knowledge of the industrial and logistics sector. Within her role as UK planning director, she will provide planning advice from site inception through to construction and occupation. Prior to TCC, she worked for iSec, Knight Frank and Gerald Eve.
Freeley brings 30 years of experience to his new role as UK construction director having worked on large-scale development and construction projects throughout the UK and Europe. He joins TCC from DHL Real Estate Solutions where he was senior project manager and, prior to this, he was senior project manager at Hammerson.
Shah joins from GL Hearn, where he was a finance manager. He brings over ten years of experience to TCC having worked in finance for property firms such as Mace and Native Land.
