Immo Industry Group and Colliers International Serbia have unveiled plans for what they say will be Serbia's first logistical and industrial park. Known as IIG Industrial Park Belgrade, the park will comprise 85,000 m2 of logistics and industrial facilities on a 17-hectare site on the E-75 highway next to Stara Pazova, IIG and Colliers said.

The land, logistics and industrial department of Colliers Industrial Serbia concluded the land deal for the site while Belgium-based IIG is developing the park. IIG has 18 industrial parks, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and other CIS countries and develops tailor-made industrial real estate.

'We think Serbia's strategic location, highly-trained workforce, good logistics infrastructure and advantageous trade arrangements with countries like Russia means that it has a very bright future in industrial development,' Colliers International Serbia managing director Jovica Jakovac said in a statement.
