German investor Immac has acquired a portfolio of five nursing facilities in Austria for a total of EUR 64 mln. The properties with a total of 584 beds are located in Steiermark, in the vicinity of Vienna.

The assets, which were bought from Kräutergarten Group, are rented on a long-term basis with a 25-year term and a five-year extension. They are earmarked for three different funds managed by Immac. The transaction follows closely on Immac's acquisition in September 2008 of a nursing home in Austria.
