Greek operator Ikos Resorts has reportedly bought the five-star Blau Porto Petro hotel in Mallorca, on the Balearic islands, from Grupo Roxa for €110 mln.

According to Spanish press reports, the buyer plans to renovate and expand the asset which already counts 319 rooms. Following a thorough redevelopment, the hotel will offer 434 rooms, six restaurants, a spa and a sports area of 10,000 meters, with completion planned for April 2023.

Ikos already operates one hotel in Spain, in Andalusia. Also, on the Iberian Peninsula, it will add Ikos Cortesía, in Algarve, by 2024.
