Ikea Center Poland opened the EUR 200 mln Port Lodz shopping centre on Wednesday. The realisation of the project has taken about 16 months.
Cushman & Wakefield said Port Lodz is one of the largest shopping centres in the region. The complex covers a total area of 127,000 m2, with 100,000 m2 intended for lease. A recreational and retail zone with children’s play area, stage and tree-covered garden comprises 10,000 m2. The facility also offers a patio combining recreational, sports and leisure functions. The primary catchment area holds around 1.5 million of potential customers.
Over 33,000 m2 is occupied by Ikea. The tenant group includes Leroy Merlin, H&M, C&A, Reserved, Cropptown, House, Mohito, Home&You, Cubus, Benetton, ExiSport, Saturn, RTV Euro AGD, Douglas and other leading national and international brands. Port Lodz will feature over 200 stores and service points.
Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for the commercialisation of the centre, in cooperation with Lease Department of Inter Ikea Centre Polska.
