Icade's healthcare arm is expanding its footprint in the nursing home and clinic sector with the acquisition of two portfolios valued at a total of €280 mln.
The company said it has invested €175 mln in the purchase of a portfolio of four medical facilities from an investment consortium operated by the Vedici group. The package includes Pôle Santé Sud in Le Mans, the François Chénieux clinic in Limoges, the Centre Clinical d’Angoulême and the Centre Médico Chirurgical des Cèdres in Brive.
In addition, Icade Santé acquired a portfolio of four clinics including Polyclinique Jean Vilar in Bruges, Polyclinique les Fleurs in Ollioules, clinique Villette in Dunkerque and Clinique de Flandre in Coudekerque-Branche from local operator Médi-Partenaires. The second batch of acquisitions amounted to €106 mln including duties.
All of the assets have firm, 12-year leases with the Vedici and Médi-Partenaires operators.
The acquisition brings the number of establishments owned by Icade Santé to 55 with seven operators. The Icade Santé portfolio amounts to over €1.7 bn.
