Icade Santé has agreed to acquire the Confluent Group, the owner of the Confluent private hospital in Nantes, from private hospital group Vivalto Santé for €194 mln.
The Confluent private hospital encompasses close to 58,000 m2, being one the largest private hospitals with 509 beds and places and 28 operating rooms.
French private hospital operator Vivalto Group will operate the asset under a 12-year lease with no break option.
This acquisition, which is part of Icade Santé’s ambitious plan to invest €1 bn in France by 2022, strengthens the partnership between Icade Santé and Vivalto Santé with a third facility leased to this operator. In addition, it bolsters Icade Santé’s position as the leader in healthcare real estate in France, with a portfolio encompassing 128 assets and worth a total of €4.9 bn, the company said in a statement.
Icade Santé is 56.86% owned by the Icade Group. Since 2017, Icade Santé has pursued a strategy of diversification into the nursing home segment.
