French REIT Icade said that it has signed an off-plan lease agreement with energy services provider TechnipFMC for around 51,000 m2 in its Origine building in Nanterre.
The lease has a nine-year term with no break option and starts on completion of the building, which is scheduled for late 2020.
TechnipFMC will then bring all its employees together currently spread over several sites in the Paris region.
The agreement has allowed Icade to pre-lease 80% of the development, which has a total floor area of about 67,000 m2 and includes a majority of offices with also 145 housing units totalling about 10,800 m2.
TechnipFMC was advised by JLL and law firm Gide, and Icade by law firm LIGL.
