Icade and ING Real Estate said on Monday that they have signed contracts with IVG to develop three buildings within the new Claude Bernard business park in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The contracts are for the construction of 40,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of office space across three properties. Two of the buildings will provide some 12,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of office space, while the third one, designed by architects Agence Jacques Ferrier, will have 16,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of office space. Icade and ING Real Estate said that the buildings will meet the highest standards of sustainable development, and will apply for the HQE energy certification. Construction work is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2009, with completion in 2011.
