Icade's healthcare arm Icade Santé has acquired the Hôpital de la Loire private hospital in Saint-Etienne from peer Acapace Group and family investment company Sofival.
Icade's healthcare arm Icade Santé has acquired the Hôpital de la Loire private hospital in Saint-Etienne from peer Acapace Group and family investment company Sofival.
Icade paid for €58 mln for the asset, including duties. The hospital is a 305-bed medical, surgical and obstetrician facility, operated by the Générale de Santé group.
As part of the acquisition, Générale de Santé signed a new lease on the asset for an initial fixed term of 12 years.
Following this acquisition, Icade Santé owns 58 healthcare properties, including 13 with the Générale de Santé group. The portfolio is valued at over €1.8 bn.
Icade Santé is 57%-owned by Icade and focuses on healthcare real estate.
