Insite Asset Management (I-AM) has formed a joint venture with US-based GS Realty Group to identify, secure and manage property assets in the UK and continental Europe for third-party clients. The clients are both institutionally and non-institutionally funded. The new partnership was facilitated by Capital Shopping Centres' former property director Caroline Kirby, who is a consultant to I-AM.

The new partnership was facilitated by Capital Shopping Centres' former property director Caroline Kirby, who is a consultant to I-AM.

I-AM is a property asset management business based in London. The company was formed in 2009 in response to the changing world of retail and leisure property assets following the global financial crisis. Clients include MGPA, Squarestone, Belfast Office Properties, and Westfield Stratford City. I-AM's managing director is Nigel Poad, whilst its non-executive chairman is Neil Varnham.

GS Realty’s core business is transactional advisory and valuation services, identifying off-market and distressed opportunities for investment and value creation, with the goal of matching capital and outstanding and unique opportunities. GS Realty is an affiliate of GS Companies, which manages and partners in around $500 mln (EUR 393 mln) of real estate assets in the US, primarily in the eastern region. Assets include commercial, multi-family, retail and residential real estate.
