Hypo Real Estate has announced it is to relocate in the third quarter of this year to a new office complex located in Unterschleissheim, north of Munich. All the property financier's staff based at five different locations across Munich will be brought together in the new complex.

Hypo Real Estate said it will occupy several buildings on the ‘IT Port’ campus. The new offices for about 650 staff will for the most part feature an open-plan layout. Originally it had planned to move into the ‘Lehel Carré’ in Munich city centre. Munich will remain unchanged as the company’s registered office even after the relocation.

'The campus at the new location provides the conditions for working together more efficiently while, at the same time, being an indicator for the new bank which we want to build up over the coming years,' said CEO Axel Wieandt.
