London landlord Hyde has acquired housing and community services provider Pinnacle Group, creating one of the largest housing, property, and community services providers in the UK.

Pinnacle Hyde

This strategic investment aligns with Hyde's ambition to become a leading national housing and property services management organization. The company's charitable and social purpose will remain central to its operations, with all surplus reinvested in the communities served.

The combined entity now owns and manages approximately 120,000 homes across various tenures, spans over 200 sites, provides neighbourhood services to over 350,000 households, and employs over 5,000 people.

The acquisition leverages both Hyde and Pinnacle's expertise in attracting institutional capital for affordable housing projects. This platform will enable the group to expand its housing services platform to both private and public sector clients nationwide, supporting the delivery of homes across all tenures, with a strong emphasis on affordable housing.

Andy Hulme, Group CEO of The Hyde Group, said: ‘This is a game-changing moment for Hyde, our current and future customers, and the wider housing sector. By prioritising communities and embracing innovation, we’ll simultaneously improve service delivery to existing customers and accelerate access to the market-leading services we offer, meaning we can do more, for more communities, and play our role in support of the government’s housing strategy.’

Perry Lloyd, Group CEO of Pinnacle Group, added: ‘We are excited to join forces with Hyde Group, a partnership that will amplify our impact across all living sectors, including affordable housing. By combining our strengths, we can innovate more effectively and deliver high-quality, well-managed homes and communities nationwide.’

While operating as a standalone subsidiary within the Hyde Group, Pinnacle will maintain its distinct identity, client relationships, executive management, and operational teams. Pinnacle manages over 70,000 homes for a diverse range of clients, including central and local government, investors, and housebuilders.
