Listed property firm Home Invest Belgium has joined forces with insurer Belfius and infrastructure investors TINC and DG Infra Yield to acquire over 51% of Sunparks De Haan, the owner of a leisure complex in De Haan, Belgium.
A French equity fund managed by French real estate asset and fund manager Atream has acquired the remaining 49% stake in the asset.
The transaction price is in line with the fair value of the asset and amounts to around €75 mln, which will be partly financed by shareholders with the remainder funded with bank debt.
Home Invest and its partners plan to gradually renovate the complex which is operated under a fixed initial period of 15 years by Sunparks Leisure, part of the Pierre & Vacances holiday group.
