According to the company, Bruggeman will also be appointed, subject to the approval of the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA), as effective leader of Home Invest Belgium.

Bruggeman has more than 10 years’ experience in finance, having started his career at Banque Degroof as an equity analyst, in charge of the real estate sector.

His most recent role was CFO of publicly-listed REIT Qrf City Retail, a company he joined in 2015.

'With Preben’s arrival, Home Invest Belgium ensures continuity within its management; he will be working together with Jean-Luc Colson, the current
CFO who announced its departure, for a certain time,' said Sven Janssens, CEO.

Bruggeman's 'experience in the field, vision and values will help to fulfill Home Invest Belgium’s ambitions', Janssens concluded.
