German construction-development group Hochtief has announced that its completed office scheme Rondo 1 in Warsaw is the first multi-tenant building in Europe to receive the LEED Gold certificate in the Existing Buildings category.

German construction-development group Hochtief has announced that its completed office scheme Rondo 1 in Warsaw is the first multi-tenant building in Europe to receive the LEED Gold certificate in the Existing Buildings category.

Rondo 1 is managed by Hochtief and owned by MGPA Europe Fund II.

Rondo 1 is the flagship project of Hochtief Development Poland and is the 'most modern, grade A+ tall building in Central and Eastern Europe', according to Hochtief.

The 40-floor tower is located in the centre of Warsaw’s business district and in the vicinity of Warsaw’s Central Railway Station. The complex also includes a 10-story building with a car park and serviced premises. Rondo 1 offers a total of 64,000 m2 of rentable space and nearly 500 parking slots.
