US privately held investor-developer Hines has announced the promotion of Brian Moran to senior managing director.
Based in the firm's Dublin office, Moran re-joined Hines in 2011 as managing director and head of Hines Ireland, having worked with the firm previously in Moscow during the 1990s.
He has been responsible for Hines' entry into the Irish market. His current team of four employees is expected to expand in 2014.
Moran is responsible for leading the firm's efforts on a number of transactions in Ireland, including the recently completed acquisition of a 73% interest in Liffey Valley, one of Ireland’s largest shopping centres, in a new joint venture with HSBC Alternative Investments (HAIL) and existing partner Grosvenor.
