German real estate company Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung (HIH) has acquired the Galileo office building in Düsseldorf’s banking district for a special fund it manages on behalf of UK-German joint venture Warburg-Henderson. Financial details were not disclosed.

German real estate company Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung (HIH) has acquired the Galileo office building in Düsseldorf’s banking district for a special fund it manages on behalf of UK-German joint venture Warburg-Henderson. Financial details were not disclosed.

The multi-tenant building was completely renovated in 2000 and comprises close to 10,870 m2 over 10 storeys. The property is fully let, with anchor tenants including law firm Bird & Bird and Cora Asset Management. The average remaining lease on the building is over five years.

HIH was advised on the sale by Colliers Trombello Kölbel.
