A Dutch court has rejected the objections raised by the association Kop van Zuid/Noordereiland to the development of the Maas tower in Rotterdam. The court ruled in favour of development company OVG, which was granted building permits by the municipality of Rotterdam for the construction of the skyscraper. The court ruled in favour of development company OVG, which was granted building permits by the municipality of Rotterdam for the construction of the skyscraper. The structure will comprise some 38,000 m2 over 44 storeys to be occupied by Deloitte, AKD Prinsen van Wijmen and Q Park. Architect firm Dam & Partners in partnership with French-based Odile Decq Benoit Cornette designed the building. The project also includes 637 parking spaces. Delivery is due in mid-2009.
