Highbrook buys Rotterdam office scheme from APF International

The acquisition comes hard on the heels of Highbrook's acquisition in April of the €615 mln Dutch Mesdag Delta portfolio in an off-market deal with Breevast. Also, the US investor last week took over the Groot Handelsgebouw near Rotterdam's central station for €90 mln.

Boompjes 258 provides around 16,200 m2 of office space across 21 storeys and is majority let (60%) to Ernst & Young on a long-term rental agreement.

APF bought the asset in 2015 in a joint venture with US investment manager Ares as part of a larger portfolio transaction comprising 18 assets.

Van Gool Elburg Vastgoedspecialisten and Loyens Loeff advised the buyer while Vriman M&A and JLL acted for the vendor.
