Miami-based HIG Capital has appointed Tareck Safi as managing director and head of real estate debt in Europe.
Safi has over 20 years of experience originating, structuring and investing in real estate debt, according to HIG, and will be based in the firm's London office.
Prior to HIG, Safi was head of commercial real estate debt investments for EMEA at Pimco, focusing on private transactions. He previously held senior positions at Societe Generale and RBS.
