Hesse Newman Capital has acquired Hochtief House Hamburg from Hochtief Projektentwicklung for an undisclosed sum. A joint venture made up of Hochtief Projektentwicklung, Hochtief Facility Management and Hochtief Construction is currently working on the group's first regional headquarters modelled on the 'One Roof' concept.

From 2012, all Hamburg-based Hochtief business units will be housed together in the complex, which has a gross above-ground floor area of 21,900 m2.

Once completed, Hochtief House will comprise two buildings of five and seven stories respectively, connected by a bridge, and will be located on Fuhlsbüttler Strasse, forming the southeast corner of Quartier 21 in Hamburg-Barmbek.

Hochtief will use around 14,000 m2 of the total 18,400 m2 of rental space. A further 4,400 m2 on the ground floor will house retail outlets.

In 2010 Hochtief House Hamburg was awarded Silver pre-certification by the German Council for Sustainable Building (DGNB).
