A fund advised by Henderson Global Investors has sold the refurbished former headquarter of Prisma Press in Paris.
The buyer and the investment volume were not disclosed.
The Horizon French Property Partnership I S.C.A Fund (HFPPI), advised by Henderson, acquired the asset from Pramerica in 2011. Since then, it has been through significant renovation in order to upgrade the asset to the latest technical and environmental standards (HQE Renovation). The D-Light building in the 17th district of the French capital comprises 6,500 m2 of lettable space.
The re-sale of the building follows the disposal of Seine 52 in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Paris in the second half of 2012 after a similar refurbishment strategy.
Thibault Ancely, head of property at Henderson Global Investors France said: 'The sale of the D-Light asset, less than two years after acquisition, confirms the appetite from investors for buildings efficiently renovated and providing a modern working environment for users.'
Henderson manages property funds with assets of around £12.4 bn (€14.5 bn) across Europe, Asia and the US.
