Global asset manager Henderson Global Investors is appointing Sascha Kurzidem as the new director institutional business for its property business in Germany. Kurzidem will be responsible for dealing with institutional investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Global asset manager Henderson Global Investors is appointing Sascha Kurzidem as the new director institutional business for its property business in Germany. Kurzidem will be responsible for dealing with institutional investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Kurzidem worked for Commerz Grundbesitz Spezialfondsgesellschaft mbH (CGS), a subsidiary of Commerzbank focusing on institutional investors before joining Henderson.

Henderson had over £8.3bn of property funds under management at end-December 2007. The property team comprises over 160 employees in London, Frankfurt, Milan, Paris and Amsterdam. It also has additional asset management capabilities through joint venture partners in Hamburg and Vienna.
