London-headquartered Henderson Global Investors (HGI) has acquired the GDG Participations mixed-use portfolio for EUR 61.5 mln. The portfolio comprises business and warehouse properties totalling some 111,500 m[sup]2[/sup] spread across 21 sites in and around Paris. The transaction reflects a net initial yield of 7.7%.

Property investment company GDG, controlled by its majority shareholder Remi Gaston-Dreyfus, is planning to start a new property fund called GDG Investissements, with assets valued at EUR 150 mln over the next three years, French newspaper Business Immo reported.
In January, Henderson completed another four French acquisitions for a total of EUR 76 mln. Established in 1934, Henderson Global Investors is one of Europe's largest investment managers with about EUR 100 bn of assets under management.
