Henderson Global Investors has appointed Cameron Fraser as fund manager of its £150 mln (EUR 170.8 mln) Henderson UK Property Fund. Cameron will report to Andrew Creighton and, over the next two months to ensure an orderly handover, will work closely with Ludo MacKenzie, the fund's current manager who is due to leave in July.

Cameron was previously at CBRE Investors where he was the manager of the Unilever account and oversaw the growth of the fund from £300 mln to £500 mln over three years.

The Henderson UK Property Fund was established in 1994 as an open-ended Jersey UK Property Trust. It invests across all sectors of commercially rented investment property throughout the UK and has a portfolio of 29 direct assets with a gross asset value of £150 mln.
