Croatia’s only international logistics park has been bought by Helios Properties for around €68 mln. Zagreb Business Park, which has 95,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of warehousing space, is located 6 km from the Slovenian border. The sale was announced by the Park’s sole letting agent King Sturge.

Croatia’s only international logistics park has been bought by Helios Properties for around €68 mln. Zagreb Business Park, which has 95,000 m2 of warehousing space, is located 6 km from the Slovenian border. The sale was announced by the Park’s sole letting agent King Sturge.

Phase 1 of the development (55,000 m2) has been completed and pre-leases were signed with leading logistics firms Kuehne & Nagel, which is taking 16,400 m2 of warehousing and 2,500 m2 of office spaces, and Sportina Group, a leading retailer, wholesaler and distributor of high fashion clothing. Sportina has signed a 10-year lease on a new 4,280 m² warehouse and 1,565 m² of office space at the Zagreb Business Park. King Sturge said that there is very strong interest in the remaining 40,000 m2 of phase 1 of the development and further announcements of lettings are expected soon.

Phase 2 of the project which will provide a further 45,000m2 of warehouses is expected to start later this year
