German lender Helaba said on Monday that it has arranged funding of EUR 90 mln for UK-based group Boultbee for refinancing of its Punkt and Gallerien commercial properties in Västeras, as well as its St Per building in Uppsala. The properties are predominantly for retail use and provide total space of 70,000 m[sup]2[/sup].

The properties are predominantly for retail use and provide total space of 70,000 m2.
'The closing of the deal at the present time demonstrates Helaba's confidence in the Scandinavian real estate market and the long-term orientation of its lending in that region,' Helaba said in a statement. The bank acted in this transaction as arranger and sole lender through the origination unit Real Estate Financing Northern and Central Europe.
Since entering the market in 2006, Helaba has provided financing of more than EUR 3 bn in Northern and Central Europe, specialising particularly in acquisition financing and structured financing for international investors and investment funds.
